We are looking for an experienced client-facing leader to join our growing team in the expanding CTV ad-serving technology space. The Magnite culture is one we are proud to be a part of, we look forward to speaking with qualified candidates.
This Account Director role focuses on a key area of SpringServe expertise:Ad Serving. The person in this function is responsible for growing an existing portfolio of ad serving clients by selling in the adoption of SpringServe tools and functionality while accelerating revenue. Additionally, the Account Director will onboard and train newly signed ad-serving clients on the SpringServe platform, ensuring seamless technical integration and fast-tracked account ramp-up. This role works with teams both internally and externally to drive Magnite initiatives and shared client goals. The Account Director is a consultative expert who can speak to the programmatic CTV ecosystem exemplifying a deep understanding to build trust with partners.
The Account Director will manage a book of ad serving clients which may comprise media owners, content creators, vMVPDs, hardware manufacturers, etc. This role is tasked with empowering clients to maximize revenue and efficiency across their demand partners and grow their relationship with the larger Magnite family of technologies. This is an in-market, client facing role chartered with working toward an optimal relationship with each account, ensuring each partner's needs are met. The role reports to the Lead, Revenue - SpringServe Ad Serving.
In this role you will:
Meet and work to deliver on revenue goals for specific accounts and overall book of business to contribute to national revenue goals
Gain mastery of the SpringServe platform
Solicit, capture, engage with and understand client product requests
Gain a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses so as to provide exemplary consultative service
Leverage learnings derived from client challenges and goals to upsell the adoption of SpringServe ad serving and mediation technologies
Spot emerging opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution and revenue
Actively share internally to leads and to peers on account status, strategy and progress, learnings, and best practices through multiple communication channels
Work closely with internal teams and your clients to optimize yield and effectively manage supply and demand.
Manage and prioritize your time effectively and efficiently
Use your top notch presentation skills to command a room leading Strategic Business Reviews, speak internally to C-suite stakeholders, and over time speak publicly as an expert in the CTV ad tech space
Form and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Work effectively with internal teams on processes while giving input to ensure administrative tasks are in line with the “big picture” goals of your book of business and the company’s objectives
Track clients in the CRM system (Salesforce) and learn related processes
We’re looking for someone with:
5+ years working with advertising technology
Ad Server and CTV specific experience preferred, including a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape with attention to video/CTV
Clear and concise communication skills (verbally and in multiple written forms including email, call reports, Slack messages, and presentation decks)
Public speaking skills and experience engaging audiences
Strong business acumen and professional tact
Strong organizational and problem solving skills, as the day to day of this role is helping clients with problems to enable client growth
Strong sales and revenue mindset
Competencies that make them a collaborative team player, who shares their learnings across the team and wider organization
Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to form strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels within an organization
In California, the base salary range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000.
In New York, the base salary range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000.
Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
