The Account Director will be responsible for supporting accounts in need of fibre network infrastructure. The role involves developing customer relationships and driving sales of connectivity and infrastructure services. The successful candidate will meet sales and revenue growth targets through consistent account management and acquiring new customers. This role requires autonomy, with a focus on large, complex deals using a consultative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales revenue by promoting Zayo products and services.

  • Present proposals and manage the sales process with customers.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships, securing existing revenue and acquiring new accounts.

  • Develop account strategies, solution designs, and manage relationships on targeted accounts.

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance using Salesforce and other tools.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely information to management.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met.

  • Work independently and as part of a team, handling a high volume of work with responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Proven relationship-building skills and strong financial acumen.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management model.

  • Strong understanding of account management and strategic selling.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • General understanding of Zayo Networks’ value proposition, products, and services.

  • Ability to travel as needed.
