The role of Account Director (AD) contributes to Unify Consulting’s success by focusing on the management of account managers and supporting consultants at a specific account in one of Unify’s markets. Our Account Directors are accountable to Unify for account growth strategy, steel client relationship planning and development, and solution and practice diversity for accounts. This position will help identify opportunities to drive profitable growth, expand Unify’s footprint, and influence the client’s strategy. The AD will also significantly contribute to consultant satisfaction by fostering Unify culture within the account community and assists in matching consultants to compelling opportunities. An AD will develop a harmonious balance between consultant and client satisfaction and drive the firm towards significant business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Account strategy development, e.g. account and solution growth planning and specifics
  • Statement of Work (SOW) and Level of Effort (LOE) management and oversight, establish and maintain best practices
  • Identify and support deepening client relationships
  • ROI Validation for consultant/client events across accounts
  • Maintain visibility to and understand comparable rates and rate cards in market or accounts in purview
  • Apply subject matter expertise to sell consulting engagements within our core capabilities
  • Evaluate, prioritize and manage activities specific to account management as a function aligned with Unify’s objectives and the team’s needs
  • Identify and support leadership development for Account leaders
  • Provide performance feedback to account directors and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Listen to account team concerns, seek themes and support continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain relationships with managing directors, practice leaders and business development in market of responsibility
  • Maintain excellent delivery work

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience successfully growing an account with consulting services.
  • 10+ years of experience in a consulting domain aligned with one or more of Unify’s consulting practice areas.
  • Prior experience managing delivery of consulting services with demonstrated growth within a client domain. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain quality delivery work while taking on an internal role
  • Competitive, energetic, and self-motivated professional. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; the ability to communicate with executives and team members effectively.
