At Workstreet, we’re on an exciting journey to help businesses scale securely by designing and implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs. As a fast-growing company, we specialize in a wide range of global GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) services that support many frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CMMC, HIPAA, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.  We empower companies to meet regulatory requirements and enhance their cybersecurity posture to build customer trust.

Get to know the Sales Team

We move fast; some people say it, but we mean it! This is a hypergrowth sales org — we are a like-minded collective of builders, doers, and high-agency individuals. We work on the leading edge with companies to solve their most critical security & compliance challenges. We often hear that we are the home of people’s "favorite sales role they have ever had.” If you want to be part of a team that moves fast  — and wins doing it — you're in the right place.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our growing GTM team. This role is built for a driven seller who wants to own a full sales cycle at the intersection of cybersecurity, compliance, and SaaS. You'll become a trusted advisor to prospects — helping them understand and solve their compliance challenges, not just closing deals. You'll own the full sales cycle within our Early Stage Segment (0–50 FTE companies), developing deep expertise in security and compliance frameworks along the way. Our deals typically involve $30k ACVs, with an average sales cycle of less than 30 days, and are 100% inbound pipeline. This isn't about cold-calling scripts — it's about becoming a technical expert who can guide customers through complex buying decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle - manage deals independently from discovery through close, with support from senior team members as needed.
  • Develop technical expertise - build deep knowledge in SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks to have meaningful, consultative conversations with prospects.
  • Engage key stakeholders - build relationships with security leaders, compliance teams, and technical buyers at growing SaaS companies.
  • Build and qualify pipeline - identify high-potential prospects, understand their compliance challenges, and drive urgency around solving them.
  • Collaborate and improve - contribute to refining our sales playbooks, messaging, and qualification criteria based on what you're learning in the field.
Who You Are
  • Target-driven sales closer - Command 2–4 years of direct individual contributor closing experience, with a proven history of exceeding revenue targets within the SaaS ecosystem.
  • High-impact business translator - Articulate dense technical frameworks into clear, high-value, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical decision-makers.
  • Strategic discovery expert - Deploy rigorous, consultative discovery frameworks to slice through surface-level talk and expose deep, operational business pain points.
  • High-velocity startup operator - Excel within fast-growth environments, with a proven ability to independently build deal momentum and take immediate action without a script.
  • Disciplined pipeline navigator - Apply exceptional organizational control and urgency to systematically advance a large volume of deals through a short, sub-30-day sales cycle.
  • Ambitious domain builder - Driven to master a highly specialized industry and anchor a long-term, lucrative career footprint inside cybersecurity and compliance sales.
What will help you succeed
  • Active comprehension of GRC frameworks - Structural knowledge of enterprise compliance standards and control mechanisms, specifically SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
  • Direct conversions with technical buyers - Successful history of pitching, scoping solutions, and winning trust directly with engineering leads, CISOs, and technical teams.
  • Mastery of pipeline systems - Advanced utilization of platform automations, data properties, and deal stage synchronization within HubSpot or equivalent enterprise CRMs.
  • Partner selling proficiency - Professional experience in selling with channel partners in a co-selling motion. This motion is at the core of what we do. We need to ensure that our partners win alongside Workstreet winning.

What We Offer

  • Career Development: Clear path with mentorship and training opportunities.
  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive base salary with regular performance reviews linked to merit-based appraisals and bonus opportunities.
  • Growth Opportunity: Early-stage company with significant room for career advancement.
  • Remote-First Culture: Flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.
What You'll Need to Thrive
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders across global teams.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment that supports confidential conversations, virtual interviews, and uninterrupted collaboration.
  • Commitment to working a standard schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in your local time to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners while ensuring timely communication and support.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally for occasional onsite meetings, team gatherings, or business activities as needed.
Hiring and Selection Process
  • Candidates must participate in live video interviews throughout the hiring process with camera on (non-negotiable) and be prepared to verify their identity during recruitment and onboarding.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of identity verification and background screening, where permitted by law.
  • Selected candidates will participate in structured interviews with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to assess role fit, experience, and alignment with Workstreet’s operating principles.
  • Candidates will receive prompt updates and consistent communication throughout the interview process, ensuring a transparent, smooth, and engaging experience at every step.
