Yondr’s business segments span numerous industries, primarily across education and live events. Yondr supports schools through cell phone-free programs. Our education programs facilitate the successful implementation of phone-free school environments by providing administrators and teachers with education, training, and development resources, along with all necessary equipment. In addition, Yondr supports top artists in music and comedy by creating phone-free shows, allowing performers and audience members to enjoy live performances without the distraction of phones.

Summary:

Yondr is looking for a strong Account Executive dedicated to our Education Sales team who will successfully generate new opportunities with individual schools and districts, respond to leads, maintain a strong pipeline and foster growth within the region through collaboration and referrals with existing partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop & nurture strong relationships with educational institutions through a combination of outbound customer outreach, in-person visits, phone calls, emails & virtual meetings

  • Meet & exceed sales targets by generating and maintaining a reliable sales pipeline

  • Proactively search for & respond to educational organizations' Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

  • Drive lead generation through proactive and independent research efforts

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions & opportunities in the CRM system

  • Prepare & deliver compelling presentations to school boards, administrators and other decision-makers to effectively communicate the value proposition of our product + programs

  • Represent the company at regional and national education conferences, trade shows, and events to promote brand awareness and generate leads. (Saturday/Sunday travel may be necessary)

  • Negotiate all contracts + pricing quotes with prospective partners

  • Work in close partnership with the Implementation team & Account Lead to ensure successful hand-off & partner onboarding to maintain a high customer satisfaction rate

  • Participate in ongoing training & professional development opportunities to stay informed about industry trends, product updates and & techniques

  • Additional projects assigned that support the Company

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of sales experience selling

  • Background and/or experience in educational sales (specifically K-12)

  • Prior training focused on sales expansion via cold calling, prospecting and lead generation

  • Consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales

  • Superb interpersonal skills and communicates best in-person

  • Proficiency and adaptability in dynamic, rapidly changing environments

  • Extensive organization skills, with the ability to work autonomously

  • Incredible empathy and relationship-building skills with an ability to gain trust of clients and internal teams

  • An entrepreneurial spirt that embodies Yondr’s mission to live in the real world and not behind a screen

  • CRM experience

Compensation:

Expected OTE = $165,000 w/base of $80k-$85K

Job Location:
  • Must live in Northern CA -- Preferred: Bay Area, San Jose, Sacramento areas

  • Travel requirements: up to 60%

  • Remote
