Position Type: Salaried, Full-Time

Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000 OTE


About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Account Executive to help scale our partnership and channel sales motion focused on SOC 2, ISO 27001, and broader compliance services for high-growth startups.


This is a high-visibility, high-growth role based fully in-person in San Francisco. You’ll work directly with founders, startup operators, GRC platforms, auditors, and technology partners to drive new revenue through strategic partnerships and channel relationships.


This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of SDR or sales experience who wants to step into a closing role within a fast-growing cybersecurity and compliance ecosystem.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close for startup compliance engagements
  • Develop and manage partnerships with:
    • Startup accelerators and VC firms
    • Technology partners (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, etc.)
    • Audit firms and compliance advisors
  • Run discovery calls with founders, CTOs, and operations leaders
  • Build pipeline through outbound outreach, events, and in-person networking
  • Work closely with marketing and operations to refine go-to-market messaging
  • Collaborate with technical and audit teams to scope SOC 2 and ISO 27001 engagements
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline forecasting
  • Represent Agency at startup and cybersecurity events in San Francisco


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of SDR, BDR, or closing sales experience
  • Experience selling into startups (Seed through Series C preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment
  • Highly organized and self-motivated

Preferred:

  • Experience with compliance or cybersecurity sales
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 or ISO 27001
  • Experience working with or selling alongside:
    • Vanta
    • Drata
    • Secureframe
    • Other GRC platforms
    • Audit or CPA firms

  • Consistent attainment of quarterly revenue targets
  • Strong referral and partner-generated pipeline
  • Clear understanding of compliance buyer journeys
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts in simple business language


Compensation

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 – $130,000
  • Competitive base salary + commission structure
  • Clear promotion path to Senior AE or Channel Manager
