As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for generating new business and expanding Drug Hunter’s footprint across biotech, pharmaceutical, investment, and non-profit organizations. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close, while partnering closely with marketing, product, and account management to ensure a seamless customer experience.

RequirementsNew Business Sales
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business within assigned biotech and pharma accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with senior R&D stakeholders (scientists, team leads, and procurement).
- Partner with the Head of Sales to develop territory plans and execute account-based strategies.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation to contract signature.
- Work closely with Account Management to ensure smooth handoff and support for ongoing account expansion.
- Identify upsell opportunities and drive renewals in collaboration with the broader commercial team.
- Contribute to building strong customer advocacy through consultative engagement and value delivery.
- Collaborate with scientific leadership on customized demos and seminars that align with customer programs.
- Partner with marketing on outbound campaigns, field events, and targeted lead generation.
- Provide structured feedback to the product and research teams on customer needs, use cases, and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and forecast pipeline with precision.
- Contribute to continual refinement of Drug Hunter’s sales process and messaging.
- Represent Drug Hunter at key industry conferences and customer events.
- 5-10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, ideally within biotech, pharma, or life sciences software/information services.
- Demonstrated success selling to scientific audiences (e.g., medicinal chemists, discovery biologists, R&D leaders).
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles and procurement processes in the biopharma sector.
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close six-figure+ SaaS or subscription deals.
- Consultative, science-literate communicator who can bridge technical and commercial conversations.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Mission-driven, curious, and eager to help accelerate drug discovery through better information.
