I'm thrilled to be bringing this role onto my team at Manifest. We're at an exciting inflection point -building something that genuinely matters for small business entrepreneurs who deserve better tools, better support, and better outcomes. This role will be instrumental in getting us there.

I'm looking for someone who's energized by the opportunity to drive growth as a key partner in the business - not just complete demo calls - but help shape sales strategy, test new outbound campaigns, and build sales systems that scale.

While this role is primarily focused on new revenue growth it requires wearing a lot of different hats as you'll be working across vertical brands. About the Role 

As a Account executive, you play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and partnering with prospective customers, ensuring they have access to products best suited to where they are in their growth journey. Our customers, ranging from newly minted to seasoned owners, are among the most passionate operators. Your primary responsibility will be to bring in new customers to achieve our growth objectives. This role offers an opportunity for individuals with a passion for SMBs and track record of sales excellence.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Close deals. Manage end to end new business opportunities (source to close) to consistently exceed quotas.
  • Lead effective calls. Deliver an amazing first impression. Listen deeply and ask the right questions to discover a prospect’s business challenges and goals.
  • Independently manage lead generation and management. Proactively identify new lead and business opportunities across channels and explore new ways to engage with leads to introduce them to our products and sales process.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities. Partner with the Director of Growth to identify demand generation campaigns and new business opportunities based on customer insights.
  • Stay organized. Keep HubSpot up to date so we can forecast and learn from deal insights.
  • Company advocate. Be a company and brand advocate; SMBs love us and our deep expertise.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trusted partner. You take a consultative, customer-first sales approach. Our members trust us based on our products' personalized, conversational, and relevant guidance.
  • Experience in SMB sales. You have at least two (2) years experience selling to SMBs, preferably high-volume SMB sales, including closing experience.
  • Collaboration and communication. You are collaborative and open to receiving and implementing feedback to improve team outcomes.
  • Sales tech stack. You have experience with Hubspot and sales automation software.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with AI-driven products and tools and services businesses
  • Prior experience in any of the following: pet services, death care, salons or other adjacent industries (i.e., restaurants, gyms, HVAC)
