About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

🔍 What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our growing GTM motion at Aleph. You'll own a full-cycle book of business, working with finance teams at larger, more complex organizations who need a strategic partner, not just a vendor. Your commission will be uncapped, and you'll be held to a very attainable quota.

You'll manage the funnel end-to-end and work closely with sales leaders and broader team to continuously refine our sales strategy and playbook. We have well-established product-market fit, a clearly defined sales motion, sales engineers, and a solid TOFU lead gen apparatus. This is the right seat for an experienced seller who wants in at a startup right as it shifts from early stage to growth stage.

👷 What you’ll be doing
  • Qualify opportunities to make sure we're engaging with the right prospects

  • Understand each prospect's financial setup to identify exactly how Aleph will benefit them

  • Deliver personalized demos of Aleph, in collaboration with a Sales Engineer

  • Partner with our Solutions and Data teams to design high-impact trials

  • Manage the entire sales process and bring in the right internal resources at the right time to close deals

  • Negotiate and close deals with the best possible terms for Aleph

  • Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to keep making Aleph better every day

📝 About you
  • You have 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, or a track record of quickly rising through the ranks in your sales career

  • You've been an AE and exceeded quota selling deals in the $20k-$200k ACV range

  • You're comfortable selling to C-suite personas at large organizations

  • You have solid business acumen and understand the dynamics across departments, roles, and geographies

  • You're organized and thrive on staying on top of your workload in a fast-paced environment

  • You're intellectually curious, interested in business, and like to solve problems

  • Bonus: you have a background in finance

While this is a remote-first opportunity, we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
