We’re building a high-performing sales team and looking for driven, career growth and commission motivated individuals to help expand our pipeline.

Role Overview

Hoopla is looking for a driven, coachable Account Executive to join our in-office sales team. This is an entry-mid level, ramp-into-quota role — perfect for someone with SDR/BDR experience (or strong outbound instincts) who is ready to own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to closed deal. You'll spend your day prospecting and responding to inbound leads, running discovery and demo calls, and closing new business, all while being mentored by experienced sales leadership sitting right next to you.

What You’ll Do
  • Source and manage your own pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting: cold calls, emails, and social outreach

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads

  • Run discovery calls to uncover prospect needs, pain points, and buying criteria

  • Deliver tailored product demos that connect Hoopla's value to each prospect's goals

  • Manage a full-cycle sales process from first touch to signed contract

  • Keep CRM data clean and up to date (activity, pipeline stage, next steps)

  • Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly outbound targets

  • Collaborate daily with SDRs, AEs, and sales leadership in-office to sharpen messaging and close technique

  • Take coaching in stride — this role is built around fast, hands-on skill development

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of sales experience (SDR/BDR background a strong plus, not required) and/or:

  • 1–8 years of sales experience (SDR/BDR background a strong plus, not required)

  • A track record of hitting activity or performance goals in a fast-paced environment (sales, retail, hospitality, competitive athletics, etc. all count)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Resilience and grit — comfortable with rejection and quick to bounce back

  • Genuine curiosity: you ask good questions and actually listen to the answers

  • Coachable and competitive — you want feedback and you want to win

  • Comfortable working in-office, full-time, alongside your team

Why Join Us
  • Base salary + uncapped commission, with clear aggressive accelerators for over-performance

  • A defined path from AE to Senior AE to Sales Leadership based on performance, not tenure

  • Hands-on coaching from sales leadership — daily call reviews, live mentorship, real feedback

  • High-energy, in-office culture built around team wins, leaderboards, and healthy competition

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
