At Deepnote, we are building the next generation of data analytics tools. A new type of platform where teams can explore, analyze and present data from start to finish - together. We want to make data notebooks the focal point for any data-driven team.

This is an opportunity to be one of the founding members of a world-class sales team at a young, fast-growing company. This role isn’t right for everybody - and that’s okay! At Deepnote, change is a constant. Our product and processes are constantly evolving, or haven’t even been built yet. We are looking for someone who is excited by a high degree of autonomy and personal accountability. As an Account Executive at Deepnote, you will help our customers uncover value in our product by matching solutions to key challenges and outcomes.

🚀 About you
  • A love for building and experimentation. Some sales jobs are all about incremental improvements to a proven process. This is not one of those jobs. As an early Account Executive at Deepnote, you’ll have your fingerprints on processes you’ve helped build, all over the business, for years to come.

  • A true entrepreneurial spirit. We are a start up, which means no one has time to micro-manage you. That doesn’t mean you won’t receive constant feedback from your leaders and peers. However, it does mean we expect you to be proactive, productive, and relentless at prioritization. There is never a shortage of things to work on at a startup!

  • A need to give and receive feedback written into their DNA. We want to move fast. The way we move fast is by learning fast. How do we move fast? Feedback. If you love constant feedback (good and bad) and love helping others grow too, keep reading.

  • 2-4 years experience at a B2B SaaS company in a closing role.

  • A proven track record of high attainment against quota. We ask every late-stage candidate for references.

➕ Bonus Points
  • You have worked at a company in this diagram or can explain what exactly is going on in this diagram.

  • You are trained in Force Management Command of the Message or similar value-selling methodologies.

  • We review every application seriously. However, there are better ways for sales professionals to stand out than simply submitting an application.

💸 Perks and benefits
  • Very competitive compensation package. 💵

  • Equity options in early-stage venture ready to scale. 🚀

  • A team of the smartest and kindest people you’ve ever met. 🧠

  • Team events, off-sites and incredibly fun company retreats. 🌊

  • Credit card with unlimited budget for learning, self development and work related expenses. 💳

  • Travel budget to meet the team. 🛫

  • 25 days of PTO and unlimited sick days. 🏝️

  • Paid parental/family leave. 👶

  • Super cool swag. 👕

  • Flexible working hours. 🕣

  • $2,000 Kick-start bonus to get you set up. 💰

  • $1,000 Health budget. 💰
