About Mithrl

We envision a world where novel drugs and therapies reach patients in months, not years, accelerating breakthroughs that save lives.

Mithrl is building the world’s first commercially available AI Co-Scientist—a discovery engine that empowers life science teams to go from messy biological data to novel insights in minutes. Scientists ask questions in natural language, and Mithrl answers with real analysis, novel targets, and patent-ready reports.

Our traction speaks for itself:

  • 12X year-over-year revenue growth

  • Trusted by leading biotechs and big pharma across three continents

  • Driving real breakthroughs from target discovery to patient outcomes.

Why This Role Matters

We’ve built something scientists love. Now we need the world to know.

As an Account Executive, you’ll own the customer journey from demo through deal close. You will engage directly with biotech and pharma prospects, showcase how our product solves scientific and operational challenges, and guide them through evaluation, negotiation, and signing. Your focus is on advancing qualified opportunities to successful partnerships, not on lead generation or cold outreach.

You’ll work closely with the founders, product, and GTM teams to scale revenue, boost visibility, and support everything from demo to deal flow. This is a high-ownership role with room to shape the brand, grow a team, and accelerate into a Head of Sales track as the company scales.

What You'll Do
  • Take ownership of qualified opportunities handed off from SDRs, marketing, or inbound channels.

  • Conduct tailored product demos that highlight value for life sciences R&D and decision-makers.

  • Manage all stages of the evaluation process including discovery, technical validation, procurement, and legal/contract discussions.

  • Partner closely with our scientific and customer success teams to ensure prospects see the full scientific and business value of the platform.

  • Develop relationships with both technical and business stakeholders, from bench scientists to executives.

  • Drive opportunities to close, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly/annual revenue targets.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in the CRM.

  • Provide customer feedback to help refine product and positioning.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of closing experience in SaaS or scientific software, with at least 1–2 years selling into biotech, pharma, or life sciences organizations.

  • Proven track record of success running the full sales cycle from demo to close.

  • Familiarity with scientific workflows (omics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or drug discovery) and ability to communicate credibly with technical audiences.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Experience navigating procurement and legal processes in life sciences or enterprise contexts.

  • High attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • **Curiosity, persistence, and a drive to understand how things work

  • **High energy, strong work ethic, and a track record of getting things done

  • **Discipline Wins: At Mithrl, the social currency is hard work and consistency. The problems we’re solving are complex and take time to bear fruit. We value teammates who show up every day, work with focus, and bring long-term discipline to their craft

Preferred

  • Background in life sciences (education or prior industry role).

  • Experience selling AI/ML or data platforms to R&D teams.

  • Existing network in biotech/pharma.

What You’ll Love

  • Ownership: The customer voice and the motion—you’ll build it

  • Impact: Help the world’s best scientists discover drugs faster and change lives

  • Speed: Our deals close fast, our product ships fast, and our growth is real

  • Team: Work alongside world-class AI scientists, engineers, and biotech experts

  • Culture: Smart, humble, fast-moving people. No red tape, no fluff

  • Location: Beautiful SF office, in-person team

  • Benefits: Comprehensive PPO health coverage through Anthem (medical, dental, vision) + 401(k) with top-tier plans
