About Hudu:

Hudu is a fast-growing SaaS platform built exclusively for IT professionals and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). We give teams a single, secure, and beautifully simple place to store, organize, and share everything that keeps modern IT environments running: passwords, network documentation, processes, assets, client knowledge, and more. By replacing scattered spreadsheets, outdated wikis, and a dozen disconnected tools with one unified, customizable solution, Hudu helps thousands of IT teams save time, reduce risk, deliver better service, and scale with confidence.

About the Role

We're seeking a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to join our team at Hudu and own the full sales cycle—from discovery through close. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound opportunities, run product demonstrations, and guide prospects through the buying process from discovery to close.

You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure prospects have a smooth buying experience. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and energized by new technology—especially AI and how it is transforming modern sales workflows.

We’re looking for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, enjoys experimenting with new tools, and is excited about using AI to improve prospecting, communication, and sales efficiency. If you have a background in the IT or MSP space and are looking to pivot your technical knowledge into a high-growth sales role, we want to talk to you.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Pipeline Management:
Manage inbound and self-sourced opportunities through a structured pipeline. Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure opportunities move efficiently through each stage of the sales process.

  • Discovery & Qualification:
Lead discovery calls to understand prospect workflows, challenges, and goals. Identify how Hudu fits into their documentation and operational processes.

  • Product Demonstrations:
Deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of Hudu to MSPs and IT teams.

  • Deal Progression & Closing:
Prepare proposals, handle common objections, and guide prospects through the decision-making process to close new business.

  • AI-Driven Sales Workflows:
Actively explore and leverage AI tools to improve prospecting, research, follow-up communication, and sales productivity. Stay informed on emerging AI trends that can enhance the sales process.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure prospects receive accurate information and a smooth transition from sales to onboarding.

  • Market Awareness:
Develop a strong understanding of the MSP and IT documentation landscape, including competitive tools and industry trends.

About You

  • Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (Relevant professional experience is equally valued.)

  • Experience:
2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or another customer-facing role. Experience in SaaS or selling to technical buyers is a plus.

  • AI Curiosity & Enthusiasm:
A strong interest in AI and how it is shaping the future of sales. You actively experiment with new AI tools and are excited to incorporate them into your daily workflow.

  • Sales Tools:
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce is preferred.

  • Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product value to both technical and operational stakeholders.

  • Organization:
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once.

  • Personality:
Eager, proactive, and highly coachable, with a genuine interest in technology and a desire to continuously improve your sales craft.

Why Work at Hudu:
  • Innovation & Impact : Rapid product evolution with regular feature updates and new tools. Building tools that solve real pain points for users.

  • Customer Focus: High user satisfaction with ease of use, powerful documentation capabilities, and strong product support.

  • Growth Mindset: A high-growth, startup environment where team members can wear many hats, innovate, and grow with the company.

  • Benefits & Perks:

    • Health Insurance

    • 401k plan with company matching

    • Paid time-off

    • Flexible work hours

    • Work Life Balance

Compensation for this role will be determined on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, and job-related qualifications. If you don’t meet 100% of the preferred qualifications, we still encourage you to apply!

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
