About Troveo

Troveo is building the next-generation data platform to train AI video models. We offer the world’s largest library of AI audio and video training data — millions of hours of licensed, training-ready content. Our end-to-end data pipeline connects creators, rights holders, and AI research labs, enabling scalable, compliant, and innovative uses of data for AI model development.

We are an early-stage, venture-backed company working with some of the most advanced AI teams in the world. We are hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline building to deal structuring and close — across AI labs, startups, and enterprise buyers.

Role Summary

As Account Executive, you will own a revenue target and be responsible for both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. This is a hands-on, full-cycle closing role that requires regular in-person interactions with current and prospective customers through 1:1 meetings and industry events. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team on company-defining customer relationships. Success in the first year will be measured by pipeline built, deals closed, and revenue generated.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and network development.

  • Own and hit quarterly and annual revenue targets, including new customer acquisition and account expansion.

  • Serve as a credible partner to AI, data, and research leaders navigating evolving model development and data requirements.

  • Develop deep, trusted relationships with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders at customer organizations.

  • Drive expansion within existing accounts, including larger datasets, repeat engagements, and multi-year partnerships.

  • Translate customer feedback and emerging needs into structured insights that inform product roadmap and platform evolution.

  • Track customer commitments, surface risks early, and keep delivery expectations aligned across internal teams.

What You Should Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle closing role (AE, sales, or business development), ideally selling technical products in AI, data, SaaS, or infrastructure-adjacent environments.

  • Track record of building pipelines and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in lean or early-stage environments.

  • Ability to translate evolving AI and data needs into durable, trusted customer partnerships— strong written and verbal communication is essential.

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity: you structure open-ended customer needs into clear plans and execute without waiting for playbooks.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to attend industry events and meet with current and prospective customers.

  • Experience or familiarity with data licensing or data labeling is a strong plus.

Location

Based in San Francisco (hybrid) with regular travel to industry events/customer locations.

Why Join Troveo

  • Shape the sales strategy and go-to-market motion of a high-growth startup at the intersection of media and AI.

  • Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on company-defining customer relationships.

  • Sell a product with strong market demand — our customers are the leading AI research labs in the world, and the demand for licensed training data is growing rapidly.

  • Significant equity upside in a venture-backed company with strong early traction.
