Manages client accounts and daily communications in an agency environment. Coordinates meetings, requirements, project briefs, assets, feedback, deliverables, milestones, budgets, billing, and issue resolution. Partners with project management and internal agency teams to deliver work on time, within budget, and aligned with client priorities. Maintains documentation, conducts status meetings, monitors account health, and escalates risks. Requires marketing fundamentals, strong organization, communication, multitasking, and client relationship skills.
The Account Manager, Client Partnership, is responsible for providing support for daily account activities and client needs. This position assumes basic marketing fundamentals, strong written and verbal communication skills, general office/team administrative support, the ability to adapt to many types of client and team personalities and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
What you will do:
- Responsible for scheduling client meetings which includes the following: confirming availability with all parties; providing the necessary files, details, and agenda beforehand.
- Takes comprehensive notes during each meeting and provides timely recaps with action items
- Assists with gathering business and project requirements for each project or program
- Participant in internal and external ideation and brainstorming sessions
- Collaborates with Project Management to ensure projects are brought in on time and within budget
- Owns, develops, and updates project briefs for new projects
- Responsible for gathering assets and feedback from both clients and key stakeholders and sharing the information with the internal team
- Reviews all content, design, and development deliverables for each project
- Responsible for managing the organization of multiple repository systems that hold valuable documentation and assets as it pertains to the clients supported (i.e., SharePoint)
- Proactively follows up with clients on key milestones and deadlines
- Works in tandem with internal teams to achieve overall account success and client satisfaction through flawlessly executing projects and day-to-day account duties, manage client related crisis and daily communications.
- Communicates effectively with the Client to maintain a clear understanding of Client priorities to help manage and guide internal teams accordingly
Conduct weekly/bi-weekly status with the client - Has a clear understanding of the capabilities of all agency departments and is able to effectively coordinate with each
- Strong understanding of the client's business and how Ansira’s work has an impact
- Manage client budgets and monthly billing procedures; communicate any budget variances to client and close any gaps. Manage accounts receivable process for past due accounts.
- Escalate all red flags for current projects and on-going work to Client Partnership lead and SMEs and develop and lead the plan for resolution.
Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ experience working with client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment; prior advertising/marketing-related experience with digital, email, and/or database marketing is highly preferred
- Experience and familiarity working on digital, tech savvy, and data-driven accounts are required.
- Must understand the fundamentals of marketing and advertising
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, One Drive)
- Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Fast-paced, multi-tasking, assertive, ability to switch gears quickly, adaptable nature required; Solution oriented and resolution focused
- Ability to work well under stress of short turn-around deadlines
- Ability to interface with all levels of management, fellow team members, and all internal clients with a high degree of professionalism; strong written and verbal communication skills
