Procore is looking for Senior Customer Success Engineer to drive the success of Datagrid customers. In this role, you’ll be the product champion for Datagrid and serve as a core subject matter expert. You will succeed when our customers succeed adopting our platform and realizing measurable business performance gains from their investment. You will literally be helping improve the lives of our construction customers by connecting them on a global platform.

As a successful Senior Customer Success Engineer, you’ll help organizations understand best practices around AI implementation and platform adoption. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, creative, and driven environment that values openness, optimism, and ownership. Leveraging a consultative mindset and knowledge of the construction industry, you will provide clients with strategic recommendations on how to maximize the value of their technology. You’ll partner closely with forward deployed engineering, sales, product, and marketing.

This position reports to the Head of Customer Success and can be based remotely from a US location San Francisco Bay Area is highly preferred or in our Carpinteria, CA, Tampa, FL, or Austin, TX offices.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

What you’ll do:

  • Make data driven recommendations to customers on how they can optimize the value of Datagrid based on customer analytics and industry best practices.

  • Craft value based presentations that address specific business problems and accelerate the adoption of the Datagrid platform.

  • Provide product roadmap and release updates to customers so they can benefit from our leading edge technology.

  • Lead product demonstrations and coordinate technical resources, both internal and external, to solve complex challenges.

  • Serve as a technical account manager by providing the highest level of responsiveness and service through clear and effective communication.

  • Foster a positive team culture by mentoring fellow team members and collaborating across the organization to develop best practices.

  • Master the Datagrid platform, AI implementation strategies, and emerging industry trends.

  • Travel up to 50% to client sites domestic and international, industry events, and other company offices.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Pre Sales, or Consulting within a SaaS, Data, or AI driven company.

  • Deep technical aptitude with extensive experience prompting LLMs and a strong understanding of agentic AI frameworks.

  • Proven ability to manage enterprise level customers, ensuring long term retention and revenue growth.

  • Strong business acumen with experience driving data driven decision making and value realization for clients.

  • Technical fluency in AI deployments, including a functional understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and model orchestration.

  • Ability to deconstruct complex business requirements to architect custom AI solutions and workflows.

  • Experience collaborating with forward deployed engineering teams to define the technical methods required for complex platform deployments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synthesize impactful intelligence from ambiguous data.

  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced environment on time sensitive projects.

  • Outstanding presentation skills, whether in person, via virtual meetings, or in writing.

  • A background in the construction industry General Contracting, Subcontracting, Real Estate, etc. is highly preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in an Engineering discipline, Data Science, Computer Science, Construction Management, or Information Systems.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise customers, guiding them from onboarding to renewal and expansion.

  • Develop deep customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor on best practices for leveraging Datagrid’s AI-driven data infrastructure.

  • Drive customer adoption, engagement, and satisfaction, ensuring clients realize tangible ROI from our platform.

  • Prompt large language models (LLMs) to extract meaningful insights, enabling more informed decision-making and client support.

  • Comfort working with data-heavy workflows and ability to interpret structured and unstructured data

  • Interpret, communicate, and collaborate on data-driven projects.

  • Partner with Sales to identify expansion opportunities, support upsell strategies, and drive renewals.

  • Lead business reviews (QBRs) to discuss impact, performance metrics, and growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.

  • Proactively manage risk, identifying and addressing potential churn signals before they escalate.

  • Deliver thought leadership by educating customers on industry trends, new features, and strategic use cases.

What we're looking for:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting in a SaaS, Data, or AI-driven company.

  • Extensive experience prompting LLMs

  • Proven ability to manage enterprise-level customers, ensuring retention and revenue growth.

  • Strong business acumen with experience driving data-driven decision-making for clients.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with CRM and Customer Success tools (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Background in data infrastructure, AI, or analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

This role may also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
