As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in building long-term relationships with our biotech, pharma, and non-profit customers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, renewals, and day-to-day success across a portfolio of accounts.

This role is ideal for someone who’s customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and energized by helping scientists and decision-makers get tangible value from their Drug Hunter partnership. You’ll be both an operator and a relationship builder, ensuring every interaction strengthens trust, renews value, and drives measurable outcomes.


RequirementsCustomer Relationship Management
  • Own post-sale relationships for a portfolio of customer accounts, from onboarding through renewal.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for account inquiries, adoption support, and engagement needs.
  • Understand customer goals and workflows to connect Drug Hunter capabilities to tangible outcomes.
  • Build credibility with scientists, R&D leaders, and procurement teams through professionalism and follow-through.
Renewals & Retention
  • Execute renewal processes to ensure high retention (Gross Revenue Retention).
  • Identify and mitigate churn risks early through data and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales to forecast renewals and expansions accurately.
  • Track and report key health metrics for assigned accounts.
Expansion & Growth
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities — new users, new teams, or adjacent use cases within existing customers.
  • Surface complex upsell opportunities to Sales through structured internal handoffs.
  • Advocate for customer needs and usage insights to inform new product features and offerings.
Process & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate account data and activity tracking in HubSpot and related systems.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to improve customer onboarding and utilization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify advocates for case studies and testimonials.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Account Management playbooks and best practices.
Qualifications
  • 2–4+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success in a B2B environment serving technical customers in biotech, pharma, or a related life sciences industry.
  • Track record of managing renewals and supporting account growth with enterprise or mid-market customers.
  • Comfortable communicating with scientific, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and customer engagement analytics.
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset; able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.
