The Opportunity

Bring your expertise to a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative team with a market-leading technology product suite. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, Account Manager to join our Client Management team, who will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of General Partner and Limited Partner client accounts. 

The role will see you retain and grow the client portfolio by building and nurturing strong client relationships, developing a deep understanding of client use cases and developing and executing on retention and growth strategies. This position will report to the Head of Account Management, while working closely with the client services team and engaging with the broader organization. 

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented top performer to become directly engaged with several of the world’s most sophisticated private equity investors and produce immediate impact within a globally-focused financial technology firm.

As an Account Manager at Chronograph, you will:

  • Establish and foster strong relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders within client organizations
  • Understand client use cases with a view of opportunities for use case expansion along with any risk factors
  • Develop and implement strategies for client retention and growth
  • Lead the negotiations for contract renewals and supplementary service add-on deals
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services to maximize client value
  • Lead client engagement sessions, including business reviews, steering meetings and ad-hoc sessions
  • Deliver compelling sales demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value proposition of the platform
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with the client management team and broader organization to ensure maximum value is being delivered to clients
  • Collate client feedback and work with the product team (as well as others) to ensure that key client requests and requirements are being considered and evaluated for the product roadmap

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Four (4) or more years of professional sales/account management/client services experience
  • Ability to understand complex client use cases and identify strength and risk factors
  • Superb written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with private markets and industry relevant SaaS solutions 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a high-performance environment
  • Passion for engaging with clients and building strong relationships
  • Commercial aptitude 
  • Bachelor's degree

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is expected to be between $125,000-175,000. Actual compensation could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, skill set and subject matter expertise. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other additions would include benefits, commission and equity participation.
