Role Summary  

Avahi is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to engage with potential AWS clients and drive business growth. In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, collaborate with AWS teams, and position Avahi as a trusted partner in cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative selling, a strong understanding of AWS services, and the ability to identify opportunities for cloud transformation projects. 

 

As part of our dynamic and collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in growing Avahi’s footprint within the AWS ecosystem by delivering innovative solutions to our clients. 

Due to our team structure and collaboration needs, this role is open to candidates in the following locations: Southern California, Boston, Austin, or Seattle.

 

Key Responsibilities  

Business Development 

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or verticals. 
  • Develop account strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand Avahi’s customer base. 
  • Build productive relationships with AWS sales teams to foster collaboration and drive mutual success. 

Client Relationship Management 

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, at client organizations. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' challenges and aligning Avahi’s cloud solutions to address their needs. 
  • Engage clients with tailored presentations and solutions that showcase Avahi’s expertise in AWS cloud transformation. 

Solution Selling 

  • Collaborate with Avahi’s technical teams and Solutions Architects to craft customized proposals for cloud migrations, modernization, and DevOps services. 
  • Lead discussions with clients to demonstrate the ROI of AWS solutions and secure buy-in from decision-makers. 

Pipeline and Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in HubSpot.  
  • Provide regular forecasts, updates, and insights to sales leadership. 
  • Monitor progress toward sales targets and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Avahi services. 

Collaboration and Teamwork 

  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on prospecting campaigns and demand-generation activities. 
  • Share insights and feedback to enhance Avahi’s sales strategies and service offerings. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications 

  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within a technology or cloud services company. 
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and their applications in solving business challenges. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives. 
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and navigating technical discussions with clients. 
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM for pipeline management and reporting. 
  • A consultative sales approach with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to clients. 



Bonus Qualifications 

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent knowledge of AWS services. 
  • Experience working with or for an AWS Partner organization. 
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger, or Sandler. 
  • Strong network within the AWS ecosystem or cloud computing industry.
