TL;DR / Overview

At Alleviate Health, we’re building AI agents that drastically accelerate clinical trials by autonomously communicating with patients to recruit them into trials and support them over years, pruning billions in excess spend. We’re solving the problem that keeps executives at the largest $100B+ pharma companies up at night.

We’ve raised $4.3M, backed by Andreessen Horowitz and other investors like Jack Altman, Co-Founder of Lattice; Sajith Wickramasekara, Co-Founder of Benchling; Ali Rowghani, former CFO and COO of Twitter; Trey Holterman, CEO and Co-Founder of Tennr; and many others who’ve built category-defining healthcare and pharma tech companies.

Context

Conducting a clinical trial is the most complex and broken — but also the most high-stakes and capital-intensive — problem of our era.

To bring a life-saving medicine from the lab bench to patients, pharma companies spend tens of billions a year on trials in which hundreds of research sites qualify and screen hundreds of thousands of patients and stay in contact with those patients over years.

This enormous, labor-intensive struggle of screening, recruitment, and retention of patients across hundreds of small research sites in every single trial is the foundational bottleneck in clinical trials.

Company Highlights
  1. Hypergrowth. We’re growing rapidly month over month, both within existing and new accounts. We’ve landed and realized multiple six-figure deals. Our largest live contract has an annual value of more than $450K.

  2. Our win rate on commercial deals is above 92%. We’re the market-leading solution.

  3. Our market is gigantic and immensely painful. Our pipeline grows organically due to customer fear of falling behind after hearing from our existing customers.

What you'll do
  • Own retention and expansion across Alleviate's full customer book, reporting on GRR, NRR, and expansion ARR

  • Build durable relationships with above-the-line decision-makers, including CEOs, COOs, CROs, and VPs of Patient Recruitment

  • Lead quarterly business reviews grounded in recruitment performance: study volume, screen-fail rates, randomization throughput, and ROI against contract terms

  • Drive expansion through new studies under master agreements, additional sites onboarded within networks, and adoption of new products, including AI voice, SMS, and more

  • Negotiate and execute contract renewals, amendments, and pricing changes

  • Synthesize customer feedback into structured input for product and operations, and represent the voice of the customer in roadmap discussions

What we're looking for
  • 2+ years in Healthcare B2B account management, customer success with commercial ownership, post-sale roles, or relevant experience

  • A track record against retention and expansion targets. You can talk specifics about books you've owned, dollars retained, and expansion you drove

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Operational rigor. You keep your CRM clean, your forecasts honest, and your follow-through tight without being told

  • Healthcare or clinical research industry experience

  • High agency. You'll define the playbook, not inherit one

  • Based in San Francisco and able to work in-office 5 days per week

Nice to have
  • Familiarity with the modern GTM stack

  • Experience in seed-to-Series-B environments

Compensation & Benefits
  • $140K–$160K

  • Meaningful equity package

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Take-what-you-need PTO package

  • San Francisco, CA — on-site, 5 days per week
