About the role

The Account Manager owns a portfolio of up to 150 accounts and is fully responsible for retention, revenue growth, and quota attainment. This is a relationship-first role — you'll be the face of the company for your clients, earning their trust while consistently identifying and closing expansion opportunities. You'll manage the full lifecycle: from onboarding handoffs and renewal negotiations to multi-stakeholder business reviews that position clients for long-term success. You carry a defined quota inclusive of upsell and expansion targets, and you thrive in an environment where sales acumen and customer empathy are equally valued. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Support, Training, Marketing, Services, and Product to ensure clients are fully adopted, engaged, and growing.

What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of accounts, driving retention, expansion, and quota attainment — including defined upsell and cross-sell targets
  • Identify and close growth opportunities within the existing client base through discovery, consultative selling, and solution positioning
  • Manage the full renewal cycle end-to-end: forecasting, negotiation, and timely close
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trust across multiple levels of the client organization
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client health, satisfaction, and growth potential
  • Develop and execute account plans that align client objectives with expansion opportunities
  • Deliver Business Reviews that demonstrate measurable value and advance growth conversations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and account data in CRM; provide reliable forecast updates to leadership
  • Partner with Customer Solutions to ensure clients are fully adopted and realizing value from the platform
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on campaigns and initiatives targeting the existing client base

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, sales, or a client-facing revenue role — with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large account portfolio (100+ accounts) while maintaining high engagement and client satisfaction
  • Strong commercial acumen: you can identify, develop, and close revenue opportunities without losing sight of client needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — you build genuine relationships, earn trust quickly, and communicate with clarity and warmth
  • Consultative selling approach: comfortable asking discovery questions, understanding business objectives, and positioning solutions that deliver real value
  • Confident in negotiation and skilled at navigating renewal and expansion conversations at multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize effectively across a large, varied portfolio
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and comfortable with reporting and pipeline management
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and energized by hitting targets

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
