While most responsibilities can be performed remotely, the position requires once per week in-office work to support accounts payable activities, including physical check processing and printing. Specific arrangements and frequency may be discussed during the hiring process. This could be out of either our Portland, Oregon office, Murray, Utah office, or our Tukwila, WA office.

The Accountant plays an important role in supporting the organization's financial operations through general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.

In this position, you'll work independently within established accounting procedures to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately, accounts are reconciled, and discrepancies are thoroughly investigated and resolved. You'll also collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support efficient financial processes, maintain strong internal controls, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and proactively identifies and addresses issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing competing priorities, working independently, and ensuring accuracy and completeness in every aspect of their responsibilities.
