The OpportunityHalo Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the financial audit process and gain systems experience in various accounting systems including NetSuite. You will support the accounts payable process, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records. You will work collaboratively with various departments and vendors to support the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities- Assist in data integrity project for corporate dashboard, used to monitor spending patterns over time and against Plan.
- Support the annual financial audit by meeting documentation requests from the auditors.
- Assist with processing vendor invoices, including coding and data entry into NetSuite.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records to support the AP process.
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and other accounting areas.
- Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing an accounting or finance undergraduate degree
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Benefits
Salary Range : 20 - 25 USD per hour.
