Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR.

As an Accounting Manager at Fueled, you’ll thrive by bringing structure and clarity to complex accounting operations. You’ll lead key accounting functions with a primary focus on revenue accounting, while owning month-end close execution and financial reporting support. You’ll partner cross-functionally to improve end-to-end processes that impact revenue timing, billing, and reporting. By strengthening financial integrity, supporting multi-entity accounting and consolidations, and driving process improvements, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability across our finance operations.

Intentionally remote and globally distributed across six continents, our team thrives in a culture that values flexibility, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. Together, we’re shaping the future of digital experiences.

What you will do:
  • Lead and execute the full month-end close process across U.S. entities and fully own close execution for international entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, account analyses, and final review.
  • Own revenue accounting under ASC 606 across T&M, fixed fee, retainer, and milestone contracts, including deferred revenue roll-forwards, WIP tracking, percent-complete support, and revenue tie-outs.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity through strong documentation standards, recurring close schedules, intercompany reconciliations, and technical accounting support (accruals, prepaids, allocations).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Billing/AR and Delivery/PMO to ensure accurate project setup, billing alignment, revenue timing, and resolution of cleanup items.
  • Drive NetSuite workflow improvements, strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties, and support audit and tax reporting requirements.
What you will achieve:
  • Deliver consistent, audit-ready month-end closes across multiple legal entities with complete documentation and minimal post-close adjustments.
  • Improve revenue accuracy and visibility by reducing pre-bill balances, miscoding, and revenue timing discrepancies.
  • Contribute to stronger multi-entity consolidation processes and inter-company accuracy.
  • Advance reporting quality through meaningful variance analysis and scalable consolidated financial reporting.
  • Lead process improvements that shorten close timelines and reduce manual rework.
About you:
  • You have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of month-end close across multiple entities.
  • You have 3+ years of hands-on revenue and/or project accounting experience under ASC 606, including WIP, deferred revenue, and milestone/retainer models.
  • You are well-versed in US GAAP, general ledger accounting, internal controls, and inter-company accounting; a CPA is preferred.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and have strong NetSuite experience (highly preferred).
  • You bring a process improvement mindset and have experience in professional services, agency, or consulting environments.
