2026 Summer Actuarial Internship Program
The Actuarial Internship Program (AIP) provides summer interns with valuable work experience through exposure to actuarial functions within MetLife. Interns will work directly with experienced actuaries in different areas of actuarial practice which may include pricing and product development, reserve calculations, actuarial modeling, financial analysis, asset liability management, or investments. Interns will contribute to a wide variety of exciting and interesting projects, present to leaders in the organization about their contributions, and engage in a variety of networking events throughout the summer.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program with an accredited college or university
- Preferred major includes actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or other analytical/business-related major
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Successful completion of one or more Society of Actuaries exams is preferred
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong computer/technical skills - Knowledge of Excel is required, knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R is preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
