Job Description

Please Note: Pay for this role at time of start will be $23/hr. 

The Administrative Intern will gain practical experience in a professional work environment that makes meaningful use of their education and skills.  The internship is experiential and project-focused.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the team analysis of problems and the preparation of presentations and reports under the supervision of the department manager and/or staff. 

  • Evaluates information gained in accordance with established policies and procedures and assist professional staff in ongoing work in an increasingly responsible role.

  • Applies analytical skills, enthusiasm for healthcare, eagerness to learn about hospital operations and commitment to contributing to the organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant business or healthcare degree program. Strong interest in pursuing a career in healthcare and/or hospital operations.

  • Analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Able to work well at all levels of the organization.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.

Salary Range:

$21.00 - $21.00 USD Hour
