Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) B2B Lead to lead the design and implementation of Buying Group frameworks that power B2B audience management, account-based marketing, and buying group engagement strategies within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition.

This role will be responsible for defining person-level and buying group-level attributes, creating and governing Buying Group Objects, establishing aggregation logic, and implementing the AEP data model and ingestion framework that supports buying group orchestration. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition, Adobe Experience Platform, customer data modeling, audience architecture, and enterprise B2B marketing strategies.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuying Group Strategy & Framework Design
  • Lead the definition and implementation of the Buying Group attribute framework across Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition and Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define person-level and buying group-level attribute logic.
  • Establish standardized Buying Group methodologies that support Account-Based Marketing (ABM), customer engagement, and pipeline acceleration initiatives.
  • Define governance standards, business rules, and documentation supporting Buying Group data management.
Buying Group Architecture & Data Modeling
  • Design and configure Buying Group Objects and associated attribute models.
  • Define buying group membership logic and relationships between individuals, accounts, and buying groups.
  • Design attribute aggregation methodologies that transform person-level data into buying group-level insights.
  • Develop methodologies for calculating Buying Group Completion Rates and establish roll-up rules for persona coverage, Sphere of Influence (SOI) representation, engagement metrics, department participation, and account readiness indicators.
  • Collaborate with business and analytics teams to ensure Buying Group measurements align with business objectives.
Adobe Experience Platform & Data Architecture
  • Design and implement Adobe Experience Platform schemas, datasets, and ingestion structures supporting Buying Group data.
  • Create scalable attribute placeholders and data models within Databricks to support future expansion and activation needs.
  • Define identity and relationship structures connecting individuals, accounts, and buying groups.
  • Ensure solution designs support segmentation, activation, reporting, and orchestration use cases within Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition.
Data Integration & Platform Governance
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to establish ingestion frameworks between Databricks, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition, CRM platforms, and account management systems.
  • Define ingestion schedules, refresh cadences, governance standards, and data quality processes.
  • Monitor data quality, consistency, and completeness across Buying Group datasets.
  • Establish repeatable governance processes supporting long-term platform scalability.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Adobe Platform teams, Analytics, and Business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B solutions.
  • Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
  • Provide strategic guidance on Buying Group best practices and Adobe platform capabilities across enterprise initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in MarTech, Marketing Operations, Customer Data Platforms, or B2B Marketing Technology.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition.
  • Strong understanding of Buying Group Management, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), B2B customer data models, audience segmentation, customer profile architecture, and enterprise data governance.
  • Experience designing Adobe XDM schemas, datasets, identity structures, and customer data relationships.
  • Experience integrating Databricks or similar enterprise data platforms with Adobe solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer data modeling, Buying Group architecture, and enterprise data ingestion strategies.
  • Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable Adobe Experience Platform solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, documentation, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing Buying Groups within Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition.
  • Deep understanding of B2B buying committees, decision-maker personas, and account engagement strategies.
  • Experience with account scoring, engagement measurement, and account readiness frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven audience enrichment and predictive audience creation.
Compensation 

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $175,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
