What you're applying for

We're looking for an Agency Partner Manager to help scale Lemonade's presence in the independent agency channel. You'll grow our footprint across agencies, aggregators, and networks — driving revenue while working closely with internal teams to keep raising the bar on our agent experience. This is a role with real ownership, from strategy through execution, across the full lifecycle of every partnership you manage.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you'll

  • Develop and execute an agency expansion strategy that drives sustainable, profitable growth across agencies, aggregators, and networks

  • Own the full lifecycle of agency partnerships — prospecting, onboarding, performance management, and troubleshooting

  • Drive product expansion across your book, identifying and closing engagement gaps before they become problems

  • Design and run partner-facing incentive programs that move the needle on performance

  • Use HubSpot, Looker, and Snowflake to track partner performance, surface trends, and turn data into clear decisions

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, translating what you see into recommendations that sharpen our channel strategy

  • Partner closely with Actuarial, CX, Insurance Product, Operations, and Underwriting to align on priorities and remove friction for agents

  • Bring active, hands-on curiosity about applying AI to the day-to-day work of the role

What you'll need

  • 5+ years in personal lines insurance, with a track record in business development or partner management — experience at both the agent and carrier level is a plus

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field

  • A hands-on owner mentality — no task is too big or too small when there's an ambitious goal worth hitting

  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a natural ability to build trust and durable partnerships

  • Comfort working with data and pulling insights from CRM and BI tools like HubSpot, Looker, and SQL-based platforms — guiding decisions, not just consuming dashboards

  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally to get things done

  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a commitment to exploring how it changes the way you work

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $135,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our competitive total rewards package includes comprehensive health & wellness coverage, equity, a 401(k) plan with employer match, 20 paid vacation days, and parental leave. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location and our total rewards package.
