The AI Adoption & Training Manager will lead AI strategy, audit workflows, design training programs, and support organizational AI use while collaborating with technical teams.
Vocal is seeking an AI Adoption & Training Manager to help lead our organizations AI utilization strategy — from auditing how teams work today to building the systems, training, and culture that make AI a lasting competitive advantage.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, learning, and organizational strategy. You'll own the AI adoption roadmap, lead cross-functional initiatives, and partner with our tech team to design and scope solutions that go well beyond out-of-the-box tools. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Innovation and works in close partnership with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership across the organization.
If you're someone who thinks strategically about AI transformation, has a track record of driving adoption at scale, and knows how to bring people along on the journey — we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position through December 2026, with the opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive audit of workflows across teams, identify high-impact inefficiencies, and develop an AI adoption roadmap with clear prioritization and measurable outcomes
- Design and own the organization's AI training strategy — including materials, best practice guides, and workshops — ensuring meaningful, sustained adoption of tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and others
- Identify opportunities for custom plugins, automations, and integrations; partner with the tech team to scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions that address real organizational needs
- Serve as the organization's internal AI authority — monitoring the evolving landscape, synthesizing what matters, and translating it into actionable recommendations for leadership and teams
- Build frameworks and governance structures that support responsible, secure, and consistent AI use across the organization
- Influence without authority: align stakeholders at all levels around AI initiatives and drive buy-in for change
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading AI adoption, workflow transformation, or change management initiatives within an organization
- Strong strategic thinking: able to assess organizational needs, set priorities, and build a roadmap — not just execute tasks
- Proven ability to train and upskill teams on tools or skills, with measurable results
- Deep familiarity with how engineering, product, and operations teams work — and the credibility to partner with each
- Exceptional communicator: equally comfortable presenting to executives and facilitating hands-on sessions with ICs
- Proven expertise in current AI tooling capabilities - agentic workflows, MCPs, custom agents and skills, computer use, and similar evolving AI tooling
- Genuine, informed enthusiasm for AI — you follow the space closely, form independent views, and can cut through hype
- Experience rolling out a new tool, workflow, or capability to 20 or more people across multiple functions
- Background in program or project management in a cross-functional environment
- Experience building governance or enablement frameworks around emerging technology
