Job Description:
Advantest, a leading Semiconductor Test and Measurement Company, is seeking self-driven and creative Application Engineers who are interested in the field of Semiconductor Testing. The internship involves working with the Application Engineering team developing AI toolsets to enhance our process to develop test solutions on V93000 ATE. The Advantest 93000 platform is industry leading in RF, Highspeed Digital, Analog, and Parametric testing of semiconductor devices. This internship will be located in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop AI toolsets to improve time to market and code quality in Java
- Learn to operate test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, capacitance meters and digital multimeters.
- Analyze and publish measurement data for other team members – including delivering technical presentations
- Help develop training material
Skills Required:
- Expertise in software development with an emphasis on quality
- Strong understanding of:
- AI/LLM toolsets for code development and quality
- Java
- Git/SVN revision control
- Data Structures
- Fundamental Electrical or Computer Engineering knowledge
- Analytical approach to Problem Solving
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Progress towards a MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
