Lead Network System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Deployment & Implementation:
  • Design and plan network integrations including pre-deployment assessment, bandwidth sizing and redundancy. Provide network upgrade plans for network infrastructure.
  • Design and spec ML/GPU processing hardware for Safari AI applications needs.
  • Design site-to-site connections solutions with Safari AI approved tools.
  • Produce documents and presentations. Present the solution package to client.
• System Administration (Linux):
  • Maintain, patch, and optimize Linux-based systems.
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles.
  • Automate system configurations, software installations, and other administrative tasks.
• Technical Deployment & Implementation:
  • Lead and support the deployment and implementation of AI solutions with a focus on camera/server supply chains.
  • Engage in forward deployment engineering to ensure smooth and efficient rollout of applications.
• Project Management:
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including slides, agendas, and detailed reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project timelines to ensure successful execution.
• Customer Success:
  • Act as a technical liaison with customers to ensure their success with our solutions.
  • Provide excellent post-deployment support and troubleshooting to enhance customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational & Technical Background:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating high computer literacy and enthusiasm.
  • Deep understanding of computer systems and a proven ability to quickly master new technologies.
• Professional Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in relevant areas such as AI, robotics, or related technology fields.
  • Previous consulting or robotics experience is highly desirable.
• Core Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong project management abilities including documentation, agenda creation, and presentation skills.
  • Fast learner with proven demonstrated learning skills in dynamic technical environments.
• Bonus Points:
  • Experience in computer vision and related applications.
