Our Mission and Opportunity

Early education is one of the most important determinants of childhood outcomes, a critical support for working families, and a $175B market that remains underserved by modern technology. Brightwheel is the largest, fastest growing, and most loved platform in early ed, trusted by millions of educators and families every day. We are a three-time Cloud 100 company, backed by top investors including Addition, Bessemer, Emerson Collective, Lowercase Capital, Notable Capital, and Mark Cuban.

Our Team

Our team is passionate, talented, and customer-focused. We embody our Leadership Principles in our work and culture. We are a distributed team with remote employees across every US time zone, as well as select offices in the US and internationally.

Who You Are

We are looking for a systems-thinker and a builder. This is not a conventional marketing role that requires years of marketing operations experience. We are looking for a high ownership builder (this is a hands on role) that can build AI-driven marketing workflows. This person will design, implement, and optimize AI-powered workflows, automations, and agents that support campaign execution across our marketing organization. You are a problem solver that adapts quickly to using new tools and technologies. You have built automation independently without relying on software development teams. You enjoy continuous improvement and rapid experimentation. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition and engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Build AI workflows to send multi-channel personalized campaigns

  • Design prospect and lifecycle workflows powered by AI

  • Develop end-to-end workflows that replace manual marketing processes across channels

  • Use AI for segmentation, personalization, optimization, and decision logic — not just content generation.

  • Prototype quickly– rapidly experiment and optimize.

What You’ve Done

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Built automated workflows independently, without reliance on software engineering teams

  • Designed and built AI-driven workflows that span multiple marketing tools, not a single one

  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Worked across multiple tools including AI coding assistants (Claude Code or Cursor) and/or workflow automation (Gumloop or other).

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, and/or Zapier

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Passion for brightwheel’s mission and improving outcomes in early education
