Own and run an end-to-end AI UGC pipeline to produce dozens of TikTok/IG ad variants weekly: ideation, avatar/voice generation, editing, captions, publishing, and rapid A/B testing. Measure hook and hold rates, CPM/CPA, iterate quickly, maintain account health and policy/compliance (supplements, AI disclosures), and continually adopt new tooling to scale top-performing creatives.

AI Creative Lead — UGC Pipelines (TikTok/IG)
Avida · Full-time · Remote (US hours) · $200K–$260K + equity
The one-line version

You'll build and run an end-to-end AI UGC machine — ideation → generation → editing → testing → iteration — shipping 20–50 TikTok ad variants a week for a fitness workouts & peptides brand.

Why this role exists

Avida is a Khosla Ventures backed Silicon Vally company founded by ex-MIT and ex-Google founders. Our mission is to bring health & wellness coaching to a billion people. Today we provide AI-powered personalized wellness coaching programs. In the near future, we’ll be offering a new product line that includes peptides, hormone therapy, and GLP-1 medications, using a US-based physician and a compounding pharmacy networks.

We believe AI-generated UGC is about to eat performance creative. Most brands will figure this out in 18 months. We want to be 18 months ahead. We'd rather hire one obsessed person with full ownership than an agency with a deck.

What you'll actually do
  • Own the entire AI UGC pipeline: hooks, scripts, avatar/voice generation, editing, captions, publishing

  • Ship volume. Dozens of variants a week, not one polished hero asset a month

  • Run creative testing loops: read hook rates, hold rates, CPMs — kill losers fast, scale winners faster

  • Stay on the bleeding edge of the tooling (Arcads, Veo, HeyGen, Captions, Higgsfield, whatever launched last Tuesday) and constantly rebuild the pipeline as better tools ship

  • Navigate the real-world stuff: TikTok ad policy, supplement compliance, AI-content disclosure, account health

Who we think you are

We genuinely don't care about years of experience. This field is ~18 months old; nobody is "senior" at it. We'd happily hire a new grad — or a self-taught 19-year-old — over a 10-year agency veteran, if the work is better.

What we do care about:

  • You're already doing this. Nights, weekends, for fun, for clients, for your own meme account — doesn't matter.

  • You think in metrics, not aesthetics. Hook rate, 3-second hold, CPM, CPA. "It looks cool" is not a result.

  • You're a tool omnivore. You've tried everything, have strong opinions about what's actually good, and rebuild your stack monthly.

  • You move without permission. You'll have a budget, a goal, and a direct line to leadership. That's it.

Bonus points: you're into fitness, lifting, Hyrox, or the supplement/longevity world. You'll be making content about it all day.

What we offer
  • Top-of-market pay for top-of-market output. If you're as good as we hope, money won't be the reason this doesn't work.

  • Real ownership of a function we believe is existential to two product launches

  • Speed. Idea to live ad in a day, not a quarter

  • A serious tools budget. Every AI subscription you can justify

  • Remote, async-friendly, small team, zero bureaucracy

How to apply

Please send us:

  1. Two 30–60 second AI UGC ad you made

  2. A 5-line breakdown of your pipeline: tools, time it took etc.

  3. Links to anything else you've shipped (TikTok, X, portfolio, client work).

We respond to every submission with real work attached, usually within 48 hours. The best submission gets an interview the same week.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
