Our Mission

Rebuild how the world works, to make institutions work better for the people they serve.

About Brain Co.

Brain Co. builds AI-native operating systems for large, regulated institutions. Each system is built for a specific industry, powered by agents that push real workflows forward. Underneath it all is Atlas, our proprietary platform that keeps customers in control, secure by design, and never locked into one model.

Why Now

Brain Co. is entering its next phase of production deployments on a national scale with an elite team built from Palantir, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, and a growing footprint across government, insurance, health, and financial services.

Joining now means shaping both the company and a new category of applied AI. Every project here ships to production and is expected to create measurable customer value and impact.

You'll work alongside exceptional peers on some of the hardest problems in applied AI. It’s the kind of work you'll still be proud of in ten years from now.

About the role

Brain Co. builds applied AI products for enterprises. We’re building our AI Deployment team in San Francisco, with a focus on financial-services clients across the U.S. You’ll work at the intersection of AI product delivery and client engagement, helping define, shape, and deliver solutions for asset managers, investors, lenders and other financial institutions.

You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of your engagements: leading the team, building client relationships, and turning deployed AI into adopted, durable workflows. You’ll be accountable for program execution and measurable customer value, and help grow each account by earning trust and identifying the next valuable problem to solve.

You’ll partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and senior client stakeholders to translate complex business needs into working products. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll stay close to users, make scope decisions, and use AI tools and prototypes to move the work forward.

Core responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery: coordinate the cross-functional team from discovery through production and sustained use. Set priorities, run delivery cycles, manage dependencies and risks, and keep the client and team aligned on commitments.

  • Define what to build: work with practitioners and sponsors to understand the workflow, prioritize valuable problems, and translate requirements into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria. Decide what to build, defer, or stop.

  • Drive adoption and change: build relationships with users, win over skeptical stakeholders, and lead the people-and-process changes required for new ways of working to take hold. Use direct feedback to improve the product and verify sustained use.

  • Deliver measurable value: agree outcomes and a baseline with the client. Track whether the deployment improves the work, surface risks early, and address quality or adoption problems after launch.

  • Grow the account: own the day-to-day client relationship, communicate with senior sponsors, and connect delivered results to new opportunities. Partner with commercial colleagues on expansion proposals and commitments.

  • Improve the next deployment: build or adapt prototypes, test consequential AI output, and work with engineers on technical trade-offs. Partner with product managers to turn recurring customer needs into reusable capabilities and implementation practices.

What you’ll bring
  • Delivery ownership: a track record of owning complex enterprise programs through production and adoption, with clear examples of your own decisions and results.

  • Team and client leadership: experience leading cross-functional teams, coordinating multiple workstreams, and building trusted relationships with senior clients and the people doing the work.

  • Hands-on AI fluency: you use AI in your work, understand its limitations, and can discuss data flows, evaluation, human review, and technical trade-offs with engineers.

  • Product and commercial judgment: you can turn an ambiguous problem into a useful first release, make scope trade-offs, and connect delivery to customer value and account growth.

  • Change management: experience driving behavioral and process change in large organizations, aligning competing incentives, and earning adoption without direct authority.

  • Communication and initiative: clear written and verbal communication, a willingness to learn an unfamiliar domain, and the drive to resolve gaps yourself.

Financial-services experience is a strong plus. We also welcome commercially minded operators from consulting, enterprise software, and other complex industries who can show how they learned a domain and delivered lasting results.

Location and travel

This role is based in San Francisco. Regular travel to customer sites is expected, particularly during discovery, launch, and adoption.
