The AI Partnerships Lead will develop and manage strategic partnerships with AI developers, drive growth, negotiate deals, and ensure successful collaboration across teams.
Created by Humans is the world’s first AI rights licensing platform. Our mission is to help human creativity thrive in the AI era. We’re doing so by connecting leading creators and publishers with AI developers to build a trusted layer for AI systems.
We’re hiring an AI Partnerships Lead to build and grow relationships with top-tier AI developers, model providers, and transformative technology platforms. This is a rare opportunity to help define a new market category and drive real impact at the intersection of AI and creative rights.
You’ll lead our AI partnership efforts. That means identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and integrating deeply with product, legal, and our publishing business development team to shape how AI companies license and use creative content responsibly.
- Execute our AI partner strategy: Architect and execute a partnership strategy aligned with our licensing goals and product roadmap.
- Build and close strategic relationships: Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with major AI players and high-potential startups.
- Own the full lifecycle: Manage the full partner journey - from prospecting and diligence to onboarding, technical integration, and long-term relationship management.
- Operationalize and scale: Define KPIs, track performance, and iterate on internal processes and partner playbooks to scale success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with publisher BD, product, and legal teams to structure deals, ensure successful implementation, and advocate for partner needs.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product partnerships preferably within AI, data, or technology sectors. Direct experience working with leading technology companies or AI startups preferred.
- Proven track record negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements, working cross-functionally with legal and other internal teams.
This might a good fit if you:
- You’re comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and building from zero to one.
- You are resourceful and creative and are comfortable being the sole person in your lane.
- You take initiative, figure things out independently, and don’t wait for a defined playbook.
- You move easily between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- You want your work to have a meaningful impact on the business and the world.
This may not be a good fit if:
- You are just starting out in your career. You need the confidence and expertise to negotiate directly with large corporations and startups.
- You want a playbook. You will be developing this from the ground up.
- You want to own strategy and oversee others. This role requires comfort and excitement with hands-on execution.
