About Us

At 3Y Health, we are building AI-driven software to empower healthcare providers and solve the overwhelming administrative complexity that consumes 40% of the industry’s revenue. Our end-to-end platform unlocks opportunities for clinician entrepreneurs, enabling medical professionals to launch, run, and grow private practices. By supporting these independent practices with the latest AI and automation, we’re helping providers reclaim their time, build thriving businesses, and deliver better outcomes for their communities. 3Y Health is backed by over $200M from top-tier investors including Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Softbank, and 8VC.

About the Role

We’re seeking an AI Product Designer to design an Agentic system and AI agents for healthcare. The ideal candidate is a product-minded, hands-on designer with deep experience designing LLM/agent interactions (tool use, function calling, RAG, evals) and strong systems-thinking/design-ops chops (ideally with founding-designer experience at a YC/venture-backed startup). This role calls for a dynamic product design leader who can drive end-to-end delivery of agentic workflows and align cross-functional partners across sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, and product. As an AI Product Designer, you will own design strategy, information architecture, and execution of the agent platform and design system.

Responsibilities
  • Design AI interfaces and agent workflows (chat, tools, actions) end-to-end—from problem framing and user flows to high-fidelity Figma and production QA.

  • Collaborate with AI engineers to design interfaces that handle real-time data and dynamic outputs.

  • Prototype rapidly using Figma (advanced prototyping), React, Replit, and Cursor; when helpful, use lightweight code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or Framer; run usability tests, instrument analytics, and iterate based on controlled experiments and session reviews.

  • Simplify complex lab tasks into intuitive layouts and user flows.

  • Drive innovation by exploring new AI design opportunities and creating 0→1 designs that push the limits of creative AI applications.

  • Contribute to the long-term vision of AI at 3Y, shaping the roadmap and scaling AI capabilities across the company.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in product design (5+ in complex B2B/enterprise); track record shipping AI-powered features or intelligent interfaces at scale.

  • Founding designer (YC or venture-backed) experience strongly preferred; portfolio showing systems thinking, data-dense UI, conversational patterns, and a cohesive design system with measurable impact.

  • Expert Figma (design tokens, components, advanced prototyping); comfortable with rapid interactive prototyping (HTML/CSS/JS or equivalent).

  • Fluency in LLM/agent concepts (prompt patterns, tool use/function calling, RAG trade-offs, evals) and how they inform UX and product design.

  • Skilled in product analytics, experimentation, and AI-augmented design workflows (ChatGPT/Claude, Midjourney/DALL·E, Copilot).

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work 5 days a week in our New York office with a fully in-person team.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $135,000 - $175,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
