This position will lead a team of highly motivated TR&A engineers who work with teams within Flight Test (Flight Test Operations, Instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing, and design engineers) as well as with internal and external customers to fulfill the data requirements for ground and flight test execution.
This position may require business travel to a remote site and opportunity for a domestic temporary assignment to support the test program.

- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Program Management Best Practices: cost, schedule, and other programmatic aspects; and proposal support (including development of labor estimates) relative to programs supported
- Strategic planning involved in prioritization of limited indirect funds and the development of new tools and capabilities
- Employee development and engagement through coaching, mentoring, and employee performance assessment, as well as identifying growth opportunities and assignments that best fit the needs of the individual and the company

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- Have or have held in the past 24 months, an active government security clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program
- 1+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead role
- 1+ years of experience with Project Management including Earned Value Management and schedule performance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) or experience creating estimates
- Experience leading technical teams
- Experience as a test engineer on a military test program
- Experience with planning and executing programs at remote sites
- Experience with Program Management Best Practices including Requirements Management; Earned Value Management; and Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management
- Experience as a Flight Test Engineer Analysis (FTEA)/ Test Requirements Analysis (TRA)/Flight Test Engineer Operations (FTEO) on a military test program
