About this role
Aladdin Client Engagement, Client Value Delivery – ACE
What team will you be on?
Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) helps clients maximize the value of their Aladdin investment through workflow and analytics expertise, data-driven insights, and hands-on partnership with functional stakeholders. The team brings together investment, operational, technology, and client engagement expertise to help clients strengthen adoption, optimize workflows, and realize measurable value from Aladdin.
Why is your role important?
As an Associate, you will serve as a consultative client partner focused on value delivery, working with stakeholders to translate business priorities into measurable outcomes. This role is well suited to someone bringing experience from either front-office investment workflows or operational/investment operations environments, combined with an ability to understand client needs and connect them to Aladdin capabilities.
You will engage with stakeholders across investment, risk, operations, technology, and other functions, shaping the client Book of Work, driving adoption, and coordinating cross-functional delivery. Working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and specialist teams, you will help clients optimize their use of Aladdin while maintaining strong project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communication.
What will you be doing?
In every role at BlackRock, you'll be expected to apply sound judgement and critical thinking to solve complex problems, adapt as the business evolves, and combine the curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies with the rigor to challenge the results. The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Lead value delivery engagements with client stakeholders across front-office and operational functions, understanding priorities and translating them into actionable Aladdin solutions, adoption plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with clients on investment and/or operational workflows, connecting platform capabilities to client objectives.
- Diagnose workflow gaps and adoption blockers using data, client feedback, and observed usage patterns; develop and execute plans that strengthen adoption, improve operating outcomes, reduce manual workarounds, and increase confidence in Aladdin outputs.
- Own client governance and stakeholder engagement, including Book of Work reviews, functional engagement cadences, and steering forums, aligning stakeholders on priorities, scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives end to end, coordinating internal and client stakeholders, managing risks and escalations, and communicating progress and trade-offs clearly to senior audiences.
- Establish success metrics and articulate the value delivered through client engagements, including improvements in adoption, workflow efficiency, operating outcomes, and reduction of manual or parallel processes.
- Partner with internal teams to bring structured client feedback into product priorities, particularly around front-office, operational, and analytics/data needs, while sharing repeatable engagement approaches and lessons learned across the client engagement community.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in either front-office investment workflows or operational/investment operations environments, with an understanding of how investment organizations use technology, data, and workflows to support business outcomes.
- Experience engaging with and building trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder group, with the ability to understand priorities, create alignment, and drive outcomes through consultative partnership.
- Experience with Aladdin front-office, operational, or analytics capabilities, or relevant investment technology, analytics, or order management platform experience; strong Aladdin exposure is beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives with strong project management, stakeholder management, and governance skills, including cross-functional coordination and clear communication with senior audiences.
- Strong ability to translate technical, investment, or operational concepts into clear business outcomes and value narratives, with a focus on measurable client impact.
- Strong understanding of the investment management lifecycle, with depth in one or more areas such as front-office, investment operations, analytics, risk, performance, or related workflows.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin or Korean is highly beneficial, supporting effective engagement with clients and stakeholders across the region.
