Through Aladdin, the firm offers to clients the same technology and intellectual capital that BlackRock uses to manage investments day-to-day. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a through understanding of client objectives and take strong emotional ownership to deliver effective solutions utilizing Aladdin

  • Engage the clients’ key stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with Aladdin transformation goals

  • Partner closely with internal and external implementation teams to redesign and deploy strategic business trading workflows

  • Collaborate closely with the Client’s senior management team (Chief Operational Officer, Head of Trading and Investment Desk Leads) and provide strong leadership throughout the Aladdin implementation

  • Work directly with the Client to create and administer the implementation project plan, as well as the coordination of resources across multiple functional areas

  • Lead and deploy Aladdin configuration, testing and user training to ensure clients take full advantage of the Aladdin suite of products and tools, leveraging an in-depth knowledge of Aladdin functionality and workflows.

  • Work closely with the client and Aladdin Product Managers to support client development needs

  • Participate in Aladdin business development activities assisting in Platform demonstrations as well as system validations and due diligence meetings with prospective clients

  • Actively manage client communications regarding Aladdin product changes and configurations, as related to Aladdin onboarding

  • Aid in developing improved practices to make the Implementation model more efficient with each new implementation

  • Develop strong relationships within BlackRock to ensure the best client experience

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years’ work experience within the financial services industry, preferably in a technical capacity.

  • Multi-asset understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Derivative and FX Trading

  • Deep understanding of trade execution and preferably post-trade workflows.

  • Knowledge of buy-side processes and understanding of investment management workflows

  • Experience with order management systems and experience working directly with senior traders

  • Familiarity with Execution Management Systems, Broker/Dealers, Dark Pools and other ECNs

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts

  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands-on approach

  • Customer service oriented and experience facing off with clients

  • SQL Proficiency

  • Familarity with FIX Protocol

For San Francisco, CA and New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$147,500.00 - USD$195,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$132,000.00 - USD$180,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$125,000.00 - USD$170,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
