The Role

The Accounts Receivable Analyst will support the daily execution of the Accounts Receivable function and assist with ongoing initiatives to improve efficiency, data quality, and automation across the AR process. This early career role is ideal for candidates with an Accounting or STEM background and some AR experience who are interested in applying accounting fundamentals alongside data, systems, and emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools.

The role offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting processes, internal controls, and opportunities to participate in accounting transformation and process improvement initiatives.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Support efforts to identify opportunities to automate or streamline AR processes and reporting
  • Participate in accounting transformation initiatives, including evaluating and testing AI‑enabled tools to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Assist with preparing and issuing customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and accounting policies
  • Support cash application activities, including posting and reconciling customer payments
  • Assist with collections activities by monitoring aging reports, following up on past‑due balances, and helping resolve customer billing questions
  • Perform accounts receivable reconciliations, including reconciling the AR subledger to the general ledger
  • Support month‑end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry support, and variance analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation
  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Operations) to resolve discrepancies and improve billing accuracy
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including SOX documentation and audit requests
  • Adhere to internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance requirements, including segregation of duties

What We’re Looking for 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM‑related field 
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, including internships or co‑op experience 
  • Interest in or exposure to data and analytics tools such as Excel (advanced), Power BI or other BI tools, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or similar technologies 
  • Basic understanding of AR processes, internal controls, and reconciliation practices 
  • Interest in automation, data analytics, and emerging AI applications within accounting and finance 
  • Familiarity with NetSuite system is a plus but not required

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 USD to $75,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
