This role will act as a key Analyst of the Argus Australia team and is responsible for supporting the development of outputs using the Argus Consortia dataset. This role will partner and collaborate with other associates in the Argus Australia team to support the relationships with key clients.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree – advanced degree a plus 

  • Data analytic experience with SQL (preferred) and/or SAS or other data mining or statistical software  

  • Data visualization experience with Tableau (preferred) and/or other visualization software desirable 

  • Some experience in the consumer banking or related industry valuable

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen with a keen attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint in particular.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, working on multiple high-profile assignments in parallel

  • Can take on challenging unstructured assignments with little supervision. 

Impact You'll Make:

  • Leverage a unique, industry leading data set and synthesize large volumes of data into easily understood, actionable analyses and presentations that support clients’ strategic visions

  • Presents findings to management in a clear, concise format using best-in-class visualization techniques, clearly written commentary and strong verbal communication skills

  • Take ownership of key client deliverables, using peer-review of work materials to maintain high level of accuracy

  • Participates in and/or manages internal and client facing projects

  • Builds industry knowledge through exposure to a diverse range of strategies deployed by Argus’ clients including Australia’s largest financial institutions

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
