Job Description

The NA Deal Team Graphic Design Analyst will be a key contributor to a vital and growing team. At its core, our team collaborates with AEs, Product SMEs, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Global Solutions to develop actionable insights and materials for AEs and deliver value at every step of the deal process.

The NA Deal Team is looking for a Graphic Design Analyst to create agency-level, high-impact visuals and documents to help our sales team deliver compelling partnership stories to secure renewals, new business, or competitive takeaways. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details.

This includes the following job functions -

  • Support development of custom presentation and RFP response templates and formatting in Word and PowerPoint to align with client branding
  • Advise on overall format, layout, graphic design and copy editing of Word and PowerPoint documents
  • Create simple, elegant visuals to represent complex ideas
  • Translate data points and content into effective info-graphics, visuals, and animations
  • Design world-class User Experience solutions that support the needs of Visa and partners
  • Create storyboards and customer journeys
  • Maintain repository of updated product and company content
  • Help identify and document best practices, case studies and content across different verticals
  • Produce hi-fidelity mockups that inspire and highlight our products via micro-interactions and animations
  • Work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between organizations to create visual experiences for our partners and to develop and maintain a trusted and valued relationship with all types of stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency and One Visa story.
  • Deliver design for semi-custom (Financial institution, Co-brand, and Growth Partner) responses
  • Work with AE stakeholders and NA Deal Design & Development team to deliver high-impact client-centric materials

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Formal degree (e.g. BA, BFA, Masters) in Graphic Design or related fields
  • 1-5 years of professional design experience, payments experience a plus
  • Must be proficient in Adobe CC Master Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Must be proficient in Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in video and animation software a plus
  • Thorough mastery on the foundations of typography, layout, iconography, prototyping, visual, and UI/UX design
  • Mastery in visual storytelling
  • Mastery in PowerPoint (e.g. expert animation), Word and other Microsoft software –
  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable sharing conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale with solid written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, developers, and sales executives
  • Analytical thinker, with creativity and problem-solving aptitude
  • Collaborative, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills and a client-first mentality
  • A positive attitude is a must - ability to have healthy discussion and debate
  • Excellent grammar and spelling with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time and project management skills, organization, and ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work on complex, ambiguous problems to drive results
  • Ability to work pragmatically to meet deadlines while leaving room for future iteration
  • Must have a growth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, ambiguity and failing-fast - have an eagerness and willingness to learn
  • Demonstrate maturity and professionalism when interacting and leading projects
  • Foster collaboration both inside and outside the team
  • Able to justify research and design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 104,900.00 to 148,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
