Position Summary

The Analyst, PBM Financial Operations – Revenue Cycle is responsible for supporting several clients, developing relationships, and striving to receive timely payments.

 

This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills as it is necessary to work cross-functionally with other internal and external teams, including, but not limited to Billing, Cash Application, Sales Operations, Finance, and Accounting. The candidate will continually monitor the billing and collections process to ensure that any communications, collection efforts, and adjustments have been documented and recorded on the clients AR.
Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for:

  • Key Client Collections oversight
    • Manage a region of client accounts, minimizing past-due balances and ensuring timely collections
    • Maximize cash flow, reduce risk exposure, ability to work with clients to resolve issues quickly, while communicating and escalating effectively.
    • Premier focus on consistent process improvement opportunities
    • Perform detailed research of claims and outstanding balances.
    • Identifying root cause and resolve trends and issues with minimal supervision
  • Client Focus
    • Manage Clients with invoice dollar amounts ranging from $1M-$50M per billing cycle.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure invoices are paid timely according to their agreed upon payment terms
    • Reconcile financial data regarding payments applied and outstanding balances to ensure accounts are in good standing
    • Recognize Client trends and preferences and ensuring they receive world-class service
    • Provide direct communication with the client on past-due balances, credits, or other events that require manual intervention to resolve

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • 1+ years of experience in one of the following: Medical and/or Pharmacy Reimbursement OR Accounts Receivable experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or equivalent degree
  • Able to work with a highly accountable team in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn complex computer applications
  • Communicate effectively and uphold excellent customer service and demeanor in challenging situations and escalated calls
  • B2B Collections
  • Desire to grow within role and within the organization as a whole
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required and/or an equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
