Overview
The Analyst, Product Specialist - Digital Issuing supports the execution, adoption, and optimisation of Mastercard's digital issuing products and solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
The role is an individual contributor position that works closely with Lead Product Specialists, Customer Solution Centre, Account Team, and technology teams to support client solutioning, product sales activities, and market execution. The Product Specialist provides product knowledge, technical support, and market insight to help deliver customer centric digital issuing solutions and support regional go to market objectives.
This role develops deep expertise in digital issuing capabilities and platforms, while building strong exposure to enterprise client engagement and the payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities• Support the management and execution of digital issuing products or solutions within the ANZ & Pacific Islands market • Provide product and platform knowledge to support sales, CSC, and client engagements • Assist in executing product sales strategies and supporting sales pipeline activities • Support the development of client specific digital issuing solutions, presentations, and demonstrations • Act as a product and solution subject matter contributor for assigned digital issuing capabilities • Work with clients and internal teams to support solution focused discussions and address routine product issues • Assist in analysing market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity within the region • Contribute to competitive analysis, pricing inputs, and solution positioning • Support identification of new business opportunities and product enhancement ideas • Share best practices, learnings, and functional knowledge with internal teams to improve solutioning
All About You• Strong interest and passion for digital payments, card issuing, banking, financial services, and e commerce • Foundational understanding of the digital payments ecosystem, including card programs, issuing models, tokenisation, wallets, APIs, and platform based solutions • Exposure to card programs, with issuing experience considered an advantage • Understanding of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging payment technologies • Awareness of the Australian payments regulatory environment and its relevance to digital solutions • Experience supporting enterprise client engagements or solution based conversations is desirable • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to contribute to product and solution development • Ability to translate product capabilities into clear, customer focused value propositions • Confident using Excel and PowerPoint to support analysis, presentations, and storytelling • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport across sales, product, and technology teams• Have a Bachelor's degree in information system, business or equivalent work experience• Have 1-3 years related work experience, preferably in Financial Service
