Location: Remote 

Director Assignment: This role will report to the Sr Director Business Intelligence.

Position Overview: The Analytics Manager, Strategic Accounts will own end-to-end category insights support for a portfolio of key Strategic Account chains, developing and executing insight-led strategies across the portfolio to deliver against sales volume and profit objectives. As the data expert, this role leads deep analytical and strategic engagement with senior sales executives and sales leads, our distributor partners, and — where applicable — retail buyers, providing advanced diagnostics to influence category strategy and performance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own end-to-end category insights support for key Strategic Account chains, developing and executing insight-led strategies across the portfolio to deliver against sales volume and profit objectives.
  • As the data expert, lead deep analytical and strategic engagement with senior sales executives and sales leads, our distributor partners, and — where applicable — retail buyers, providing advanced diagnostics to influence category strategy and performance.
  • Develop and deliver insights, analyses, and category reviews that assess performance, identify opportunities, and translate into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage a range of data sources—including syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data—to generate actionable shopper and business insights for both customer-facing work and internal initiatives.
  • Design, maintain, and continuously optimize reporting and analytics while measuring and evaluating the impact of key initiatives, incorporating learnings to refine strategies and improve business outcomes.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion.
  • Support key business processes including category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses; actively partner with Sales and the Business Intelligence team, with travel as needed to support customer engagement and business priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated, insight-led solutions.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, clearly communicating implications and recommended actions, while effectively prioritizing efforts to focus on the highest-impact work.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner, bringing forward innovative, insight-led ideas to drive business growth.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, curiosity, and initiative, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve ways of working, and enhance overall team effectiveness.
  • Actively develop capabilities and share best practices to elevate team performance and ensure consistent, scalable execution.
  • Provide flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs evolve

Minimum Skills Required:

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 5-10 years relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor (BevAl experience preferred).
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana, and proficiency in PowerPoint as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attitude with a strong team orientation.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to communicate and present ideas and solutions.
