The Foxtrot Industrial Adventure

A project born at the University of Sherbrooke between 2018 and 2020 by its engineering founders Benoît Serrano-Parent and Charles-Éric Raymond, the company quickly demonstrated the effectiveness of its prototypes in the field before closing a first major transaction with a renowned enterprise.

Today based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Foxtrot designs and manufactures wireless remote-controlled mobile robots and motorized carts in Quebec (TANGO, SOLO 10/20/60, and OMNI product lines). This equipment makes it possible to move colossal loads of 20 to 60 tons in extremely restricted industrial spaces without the use of cranes or overhead bridge cranes. Our solutions save time, space, and labor while eliminating the risk of accidents.

Our culture is based on three core values: action (getting things done in the field), innovation (in products and processes), and commitment to the real needs of our clients.

Context: To support our commercial expansion in North America, we are looking for a passionate Application Sales Specialist. You will join a structure where the product is generating strong interest!

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Analyze the technical needs of industrial clients who contact Foxtrot.

  • Analyze 3D plans and drawings of client plants or job sites, recommend appropriate models (TANGO, SOLO, OMNI), and draft structured commercial proposals.

  • Perform dynamic demonstrations of our robots at client sites and represent Foxtrot at industrial exhibitions in North America.

  • Take about two trips per month to Canada and the United States for client meetings, trials, or trade shows.

  • Accompany clients during delivery and train their operators in the field for 1 to 2 days.

  • Ensure after-sales follow-up and maintain the rigor of the sales pipeline in our HubSpot CRM.

The Profile Sought

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, automation) OR technical College Diploma (DEC) OR relevant equivalent experience in industrial B2B sales.

  • About 2 years of experience in a full-cycle technical sales role.

  • Professional bilingualism (French and English, oral and written) essential for communicating with our American clientele.

  • Demonstrated ability to read 3D drawings and ease with computer/CRM tools.

  • Intrapreneurial spirit, interpersonal skills, autonomy, and a taste for robotic technologies.

  • Valid passport and legal work status allowing unrestricted travel to the United States.

Your Benefits and Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment and flexible schedule.

  • Full coverage of travel expenses (corporate credit card).

  • Group insurance program.

  • Vacation.

  • Friendly atmosphere, evolving responsibilities, and social activities await you.
