  • Understand project drivers, constraints, and implications to develop creative, effective architectural solutions.
  • Develop design and construction models and associated documentation using Revit and other BIM tools.
  • Prepare comprehensive construction documentation, including code analyses, life safety and egress plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
  • Develop studies, technical reports, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research, interpret, and apply International Building Code (IBC) and other applicable regulatory requirements throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and construction partners to ensure fully coordinated and constructible designs.
  • Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination meetings, and quality assurance/quality control checks.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Architectural Interns and Design staff.
  • Serve as Architect of Record for assigned small projects when required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Accredited professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, and/or D.Arch) or Canadian/International equivalent.
  • Licensed Architect in good standing within home state, with eligibility for reciprocal licensure through NCARB.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in an architectural or AEC firm environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NCARB Certification.
