Who You Are
As the Senior Manager of Technical Operations for TabaPay, you'll be working with the CTO and team to help design and build solutions to various complex problems. You love jumping into complex operations and engineering projects involving both hardware and software.  Deliver top notch tech for both internal and external applications. You are enthusiastic about creating innovative solutions and optimizing system operations and applications. When it comes to work ethic, you are hands on, self-motivated,  and a strong team player. You love seeing your work hold real time impact for the company.
What We’re Looking For
TabaPay is looking for an experienced engineer with operations background who wants to focus on systems operations for both external and internal applications. Internal applications for support, handling operations data, operation tasks and transactional data. If you are a top-notch programmer, enthusiastic team player and strong communicator, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain web applications to support operations and transactional data.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
  • Manage and maintain multiple deployment environments.
  • Oversee application release management and troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security, scalability, and performance.
  • Work in a Production Environment.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on system design and documentation. Previous experience in 24x7x365 environment desired
  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers by providing technical guidance, conducting regular 1:1s and performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.  
  • Knowledge of PCI/SOC compliance and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell) for automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java or Go
  • Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Expertise in Restful APIs, cloud computing, and databases.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

The base pay for this position is $175,000 - $225,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in our Palo Alto HQ 5x a week.
