The Assistant Controller will manage transactional accounting, compliance, budget forecasting, audit support, and ensure adherence to accounting principles and policies.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
General Ledger
- Manage transactional accounting for corporate entity (Fixed Assets/Capex, Payroll, Corp Accruals, Allocations to other Streamland Entities).
- Perform monthly YoY variance analysis, for internal Management Reporting.
- Partner with Corp FP&A to create Corp Overhead annual budget and quarterly forecast updates.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 for revenue recognition.
- Oversee Lease Accounting for international entities, accounting for differences between local GAAP and U.S. GAAP.
- Assist Corporate Accounting with recent 2025 change of control and fair market valuation.
- Oversight of Payroll Accounting and interface between payroll systems and ERP.
Compliance
- Assist Corporate Controller and Divisional Finance leads with year-end audit, bank compliance reporting, tax reporting, and ad-hoc treasury requests.
- Manage external audit reporting requirements for corporate entities including preliminary preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures.
- Assist Corporate Controller with oversight of divisional audit deliverables and timely completion of external audit.
- Manage internal compliance for balance sheet reconciliations and help ensure internal control policy adherence.
Accounting policies and procedures
- Assist corporate accounting to ensure material conformity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or another accounting standard where appropriate (Revenue Recognition, Lease Accounting).
Treasury
- Assist VP, Treasurer with daily and weekly Cash Reporting Requirements
Required Skills:
- CPA and 3-5 years’ experience in Public Accounting
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of entertainment industry is helpful
- Prior accounting work experience in private equity-held company is desirable
- Experience with ERP SAP By Design is a plus

Education:
- BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent field required.
