Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
  • Support the development of project schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Identify potential project risks and assist in implementing mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational processes, quality standards, and project governance.
  • Facilitate project meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Support change management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project management tools and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in budget tracking, invoicing, and resource utilization reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
